Jacqui Coburn of Propertymark

Gate Safe has added Propertymark – the acknowledged professional body for the property sector – to its extensive list of opinion former supporters.

Propertymark, which as the leading membership organisation for property agents across sales, lettings, commercial, auctioneers, and inventories, has a membership of nearly 17,500. It provides guidance, advice and research, as well as a programme of workshops, conference and events to its members. At the heart of its ethos is a commitment to set professional standards and to ensure best practice and compliance with the appropriate regulations.

Gate Safe has long championed the need for an improved understanding of the importance of automated gate safety amongst property professionals and is keen to garner their support in promoting the need to ensure a safe and compliant installation to landlords, purchasers, homeowners and tenants.

Propertymark will be sharing a guide detailing the protocols required to deliver a safe gate with its members – and there are also plans for a dedicated webinar and possible presentations at future Propertymark events in 2023.

Commenting on the decision to support Gate Safe, Jacqui Coburn, Marketing and Communications Manager said,

“Propertymark is dedicated to setting the highest standards for professionals operating within the sector, spanning estate agents, letting agents, commercial and business agents, inventory clerks and valuation agents. Part of our remit is to provide guidance on a wide variety of issues and educating members on the importance of Gate Safe is key especially since these gates are fast becoming a more frequent feature at both domestic and commercial premises.  We understand that automated gate safety is very much a specialist area and we are keen to ensure our members recommend working with the relevant professionally trained and competent installers to confirm the safety of any automated gate installations. We look forward to working with Gate Safe to help spread the word via our extensive network.”
